How many stories will you read in 2022? Short Story Book Club member Kate Wood read over 100 books in 2021, and she doesn’t have plans to stop any time soon. We are wowed by Kate and her resolve. Among her secrets to achieving this goal were reading books in audio format so she could multitask. This allowed her to read while also doing other things, like jogging or completing tasks around her home. She also said that she reduced the amount of time she spent watching television. Kudos to Kate!
This year’s short story reading challenge was submitted to the book club by Kate Wood. She says,
I was inspired by The 52 Book Club yearly challenge to write a similar 52 story challenge for Short Story Book Club!
To complete this challenge, read one story to fit each of the 52 prompts. Any short story or book is acceptable for this challenge… Get as creative as you like with interpreting the prompts! These can be read in any order. Have fun with it!
Reading challenges like this one can be used in a number of ways. You can find new authors, discover new genres, or just put a little spice in your reading routine. Kate is proof that you can meet your reading goals! Let us know how your challenge goes. Here’s the list.
